Putting his musical talent to use, Lee Hazlewood's music was featured in Hollywood productions. Hazlewood began his entertainment career with his music featured in films like the action flick "Full Metal Jacket" (1987) with Matthew Modine, the Jim Metzler comedy "Delusion" (1991) and the Tom Hanks smash hit dramatic adaptation "Forrest Gump" (1994). His music also appeared in the action film "Natural Born Killers" (1994) with Woody Harrelson and the David Duchovny crime feature "Playing God" (1997). In addition to his music, Hazlewood appeared in "The Moonshine War" (1970) with Patrick McGoohan. In the early 2000s, Hazlewood's music increasingly set the pace for dramas, including films like "The Gift" (2000) with Cate Blanchett and Giovanni Ribisi and "The Life of David Gale" (2003) starring Kevin Spacey. Hazlewood was most recently credited in the documentary "The Wrecking Crew" (2015) with Lou Adler. Hazlewood passed away in August 2007.
